Garden Advice
These are consultation sessions – usually an hour long – designed to focus on a specific area or aspect of your garden that’s causing you frustration.This might include how to add seasonal interest, creating a list of bulbs to enhance your spring display, advice on positioning a patio for the best evening sunshine, or an initial conversation to begin shaping an overall plan for your garden. If you’d find it helpful, I can provide written notes summarising the key points from our discussion.
Garden consultations and advice sessions are available in person across Sheffield and North-East Derbyshire, or remotely via Zoom or WhatsApp.

What I Offer
Planting Design
Following a site visit to assess your garden and understand your vision, I create bespoke planting plans tailored to your style, soil, light levels, and maintenance preferences.
Whether it’s a small corner that needs attention, a border that isn’t quite working, or a complete garden transformation, each design is carefully considered to balance beauty with biodiversity.
Once your design is complete, I can source and install the plants, and will provide a detailed aftercare plan to help your garden establish and thrive.
Planting design is best delivered in person, and is available in Sheffield, Dronfield, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of North-East Derbyshire.
The space is transformed! What you have created is so beautiful, I can’t wait to get outside every day!
What I Offer
Garden Coaching
Garden coaching sessions are designed to build your confidence and help you develop the skills to care for your garden with ease.
This could be a one-off “masterclass” focusing on a particular area — such as getting the best from your roses — or ongoing sessions where we work together in your garden over several months. I’ll demonstrate planting techniques, pruning, and general care, giving you the knowledge and confidence to maintain your space independently.
Garden coaching is a one-to-one, in-person service available in Sheffield, Chesterfield and the surrounding areas of North-East Derbyshire.

What I Offer
Technical Pruning
I offer one-off or annual visits to carry out specialist pruning of shrubs and small trees, including fruit trees, wisteria, roses and willow sculptures — all of which require specific knowledge to keep them healthy, productive and beautifully shaped.
These visits are seasonal and designed to complement a wider regular maintenance plan.
Technical pruning is available for gardens in and around Sheffield, Chesterfield and North-East Derbyshire.
The Roses have never looked as good – you worked total magic on them!

Gift vouchers are available for all services and make thoughtful presents for housewarmings, birthdays, Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.
